mailinglist connection

hi all,
The upgrade of the new forum (we went from version 3.0 to 3.5.4) came along with a brand new set of scripts.
The completed forum was rewritten and all my previous scripts didnt work anymore like the mailinglist connection, but also the articles and the downloads.

after months of trying out to bypass the newly build in security i accidently stumbled upon some code that allowed me to create threads and posts!!! YAY!!

i managed to put the code into the mailinglists connection script and after some testing i finally managed to get some entries back into the forum.

i still havent tested everything like postcount updates (who cares!

the messages are imported)
i will monitor everything for the coming few days.

so people on the list. try to post a bit (replies AND new posts) so i can see what happens!

glad to have you all back together! i am sure i will sleep very well tonight!

Well, atleast i had 1 good night of sleep

The new script still seems to have some flaws, as a result an message from the list was posted over and over every 15 minutes (the import scripts runs 4 times per hour).

i am gonna do some more testing and finetuning again tonight when i get home.

sorry for the extensive spam and testing, but so far everything seems to go flawless again. will monitor it again for a while

Quotes are now stripped and replaced by text so you can seperate replies from quoted text in the mailinglist emails.

the quote-text-parts are parsed back into bb quotes when being imported again so the forum doesnt get mixed up with different sets of quotes.
