Birthright conversion for Castles & Crusades

    Hi all-

I have posted my conversion document of Birthright characters for the Castles & Crusades game. I actually posted it awhile ago, but i have a habit of tinkering with things forever. Heh. At this point, i feel it's pretty solid.

This document does not cover any material related to domain play or blood abilities. The primary focus is on class conversions. It includes suggestions for bringing base C&C classes into Birthright, along with new C&C versions of the magician, guilder and specialty priest (including spell spheres) classes.

You can find the link to the download here:

For those of you unfamiliar, Castles & Crusades is a rules-light rpg. It is d20-based, and is a good alternative for players who want a system with a unified mechanic without the huge overhead that 3e and later editions have. Think of C&C as AD&D using a d20 mechanic.

I hope the C&C Birthright fans out there will find it useful.

    Thanks for your contribution!

Your translation guide is one of the best 2E-like C&C approach, with cleric spheres and a stronger skill-nwp approach. As for BR, I like the idea of having goblinoids as a new race as to replace gnomes and half-horcs.

Thanks for that. Hopefully all the other Birthright-C&C people out there will find it useful.

Of course, it never fails... after i post i find a few typos, mistakes, layout issues, etc. So i've gone through those and fixed and tweaked a few things. I've posted the new version. It's mostly the same as previous, just better.
