The Cerilian Witch - original source to convert to 5e
Hi everyone,
Does anyone recall where the Cerilian Witch character class was originally sourced from?. I've had a look through the BR books I have and haven't found it (although I am known for missing what is in front of me).
My intent is to create a version for 5e, and while there are a few home brews about, or I could just use the Warlock class, I wanted to review the original version first to ensure I matched that better.
Any thoughts?
Regards,

Thanks, that kit is good, but I recall there had been something officially published as a class option, possibly in Dragon mag or similar.
I thought Beth had used one before she made a new character of the custom Hunter class in the Team D game.
However, given the number of kits and if you don't recall, possibly it was something we custom made and my much stretched memory is playing tricks with me again.Doyle

I can't remember it with relation to Beth's character in our campaign. It might have been before I joined Team D.
Looking in the br.net mailing list archive, I found another reference to Cerilian witches - http://www.birthright.net/forums/sho...cks-in-Cerilia
Kenneth said:
"I recomend that normal Cerilian wizards and magicians be considered
channelers, whether or not the Players Option rules are used or not. (Idon't use them.) "
"The Player's Option lists a Power's Check in the Witch section. One is also part of Ravenloft. "
"These levels are described (with some slight difference) in the Player's Option: Spells and Magic, the Necromancy Guidebook, and Ravenloft. "
Mark says his version (presumably what was discussed in the other thread) was in his netbook. Not sure if that still exists but it might be in the Internet Archive.

You might also want to check out this thread from reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/adnd/commen...edition_witch/
It discusses an article on witches from Dragon #114, the Netbook of Witches and Warlocks, and the Complete Wizards Handbook pg 54.
