    Max HP bonus explanation

In 3.5, how does the max HP bonus work?

Do players simply get a flat bonus based off of their bloodline?

Does the iron will bloodline ability only give 3 hp, or 3hp a level?

Also, when players gain RP from bloodtheft. If that doesn't do anything to increase their bloodline score, are the RP kept?

As I read it the iron will feat basically acts like the toughness feat - a flat +3 hp, but with the addition of +1 to will/fort saving throws.

"Excess" RP are kept and can be used on domain actions, or carried forward until the next blood theft to determine whether a point of bloodline is gained, if it wasn't used by the scion then the RP might someday be inherited by their heir.
