I appreciate the flexibility presented in the BRCS with respect to bloodline creation. Unfortunately, I think that because the rules, as presented, are so open-ended, this will be a point where nearly every BR campaign will differ from each other. But, as Irdeggmann points out, the role of the BRCS is to give people a framework from which to start. The bloodline score, strength and derivation of a character are critical elements of the BR game. Whatever method is used to determine them should fit the desires of the DM and the players. So long as whatever method you select is fairly applied to everyone, it should all work out in the end.
