    BR and Stormwrack

Has anyone given any thought to reconciling the different ship-type names
and data between these sources? I`ve picked up the latter book, since I have
a seagoing campaign on. I`m preparing to do something with it myself, but I
thought I would gather other`s opinions first.

The ships in BR are obviously different ships to the ones mentioned in Stormwrack, so I wouldn't go changing BR material to fit an optional add on book.

However, there is no reason why the BR vessels cannot be converted to the same format so they can be used with Stormwrack.

That is more or less my goal, as I have a PC non-regent group in a
coaster performing deeds of derring-do at sea. I`m looking for some reconciliation,
so I can relate it to the regent-level for my NPCs/villains.

My lastest campaign also started off on board a ship, with the PC's hired to escort a merchant along the north coast of Aduria.

Anyway, looking at the info in Stormwrack (which I note was written by Rich Baker in part), the following ships would appear to match their BR versions.
    • Caravel
    • Cog
    • Dhow (version in Stormwrack = BR Dhoura not BR Dhow)
    • Greatship (similar to galleon, although Anuirean galleon only has 3 masts)
    • Keelboat
    • Longship
    • Pinacle (close enough to coaster)
The Knarr and Roundship are mentioned in Stormwrack as being similar to the Cog (Knarr is smaller and has oars, BR Roundship is much larger).

Ships not mentioned as the Dhow (BR version is small fishing boat), the Drakkar (similar to longship) and the Zebec.
