Greetings,
By now everyone has heard about the cloud of doom that seems to hang over
our much-loved campaign setting. In a way I feel like we are WoC/TSR
stepchildren. BR has been given little time to prove itself as a money maker
and I can only hope that the powers that be will give it a real chance to
show its colors. At times like this we all feel very helpless as others
decide the fate of something we feel passionate about, and all of us look
for some way we can make an impact.

Well we are not totally powerless. As BR gamers it is our duty to actively
draw other gamers to this great setting. As you meet others in bookshops,
comic stores, gaming shops, or even other internet forums, don't let the
oppertunity pass to tell anyone who might listen about what they are missing
by not playing in this exiciting, and original setting. It may seem corny,
but everyone we bring into the fold is another chance that BR will be around
next year and thats what we want.

Also we should not be silent. While e-mails are not very effective in
getting a companies attention live-mail(or snail-mail)does. I suggest
everyone on the List write a short, polite letter expressing thier desire to
see BR continued, and let them know that in a short time BR will come into
its audience if it is presented to them in the right fashion. Cancelling a
line is no way to get others to try anything new. Most will fear that if
they buy into a new setting it will be gone within a year or two. Just
remember to be polite and make a clear point. The address you want to write
to is:

Wizards of the Coast
PO Box 707
Renton, WA
98057-0707

Be sure to write ATTN: Peter D. Adkison, on the outside of the envelope.

Also make sure any BR fans you know who are not on the Internet get this
address(and name)so they can write in and get some attention. Now as I said
e-mails are seldomn very effective in getting a companies attention, but if
you neel the need to send an e-mail as well as a live-mail(be sure to send a
letter)then here is Mr. Adkison's e-mail address, . Now
if we put some effort into this folks we can make a difference. So lets do
our part, and keep our fingers crossed.
