The Masetians
We know that they originated from the same southern continent (Aduria), as did
the Vos, Anuireans, Brechts & Rjurik. They were a powerful seafaring people, and
that they fought against Azrai at Deismaar, but lost a great amount of their
people in the naval battles against Azrai's fleet led by the man who would
become Serpent. Later Serpent cursed the Masetian people (his own people), and
they produced no more mages, and their civilisation disappeared in the centuries
following Deismaar. Today 521 MR, the only surviving Masetians exist on Serpents
Isle, where they serve that awnshegh (my personal favourite). The Serpents
capital (and indeed only) city is called Masetium, and it may have been the
capital of their old empire (not sure on this, I am a long way from my reference
books).
