    Sources and the Seas

Ooops! In my last post I said: "To this end I would agree that certain
conditions could create temporary Sources on the surface of the ocean(ie.
waterspouts, hurricanes, etc.)but these would be dangerous to tap, and too
fleeting." Of course my examples are totally wrong...no fire(unless you want
to count lightning). The only true examples of these primal forces would be
undersea volcanos just as Zero said. And they work great for this purpose.
Thier localized, and the DM can control thier strength by controling the
activity of the volcano. I just can't see the entire seafloor littered with
Sources, that would be too dangerous to your game. But keeping them in a few
choice places that would be perfect.

Interesting idea. There's already Sahuagin living with the Kraken -
and they were originally an organised civilisation with undersea
cities and whatnot, with plans to expand onto land - until the Kraken
showed up and destroyed most of that.

"Underwater fish-people" are also mentioned in Cities of the Sun as
living off the coast of Ariya/Binsada/Zikala/Mesire in the
    Bair-el-Mehare. Masetians? Who knows.....
