    Blooded Animals

Last night I had a horrifying thought about the prospect of blooded
animals -- and I'm surprised that I haven't seen it mentioned before
(I wasn't following the last set of posts on this issue, so maybe it
    has been).

What happens if someone invests their bloodline (either by choice or
because they are forced to) into a rabbit. That rabbit is then bred
like mad. The blooded bunnies can be harvested at will by the scion
seeking to pump up their bloodline.

    Blood farming.

Aside from the GM saying "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!" what is to
prevent this sort of thing from happening?

This is the extreme example, but you can see what I'm getting at.

A lot has been said on Blooded animals. But to add my 2 GBs into the pot
this is my thought. It may be possible that some animals have been invested
with a BL, but without a doubt it would manifest itself differently in
animals then it does in Humans. If you take this a little further you can
say that the BL is altered to accomidate(sp?) the animal. This way if
another creature steals its BL they should become afflicted with a type of
Bloodform that slowly transforms them into a Ersheghlien(sp?) that resembles
the animal they "harvested" for thier BL. This should quickly discourage
    characters from this action.

Check out Blood Enemies: Abominations of Cerilia. They've got the Boar of
Thuringode (in Brechtur) and the Wolf (also in Brechtur, i think). Both of
these are blooded animals (come to think of it, so is the Kraken and the
    Leviathan, in a way).

The bunny rabit this is interesting, if a bit twisted (hell, ALOT twisted).
Maybe the divine essence would kill the beast (flimsy, I know), or maybe
it mutates it in some way (a la Monty Python and the Holy Grail...)
