    Anuirean campaigns

I, too, have established "The New Anuirean Empire" in my campaign, but the
current Emperess (yes--Emperess) is descended from the Roele line (way-way
back), and there are more surprises in store for them. I'll only give one
    clue--Chronomancer.

The new Anuirean Empire with an Roele heir....Michael was the last so I guess
that this new heir was brought back from the past...question then, if she
dies, -- heck, or even just never makes it back, what happens to her
decendants...will there be no Michael Roele, no Hayeln, no empire at
all....some serious questions.....ponder these for starters.....

I also have the Chronomancer book and someone of this importance may trigger
a guardian to be following up on the events...

    my humble 2 cents,

Well actually if the person is following the novel "Iron Throne" there
are plenty of opportunities for a person to be of the Roele line.
Michael Roele had sisters in this novel.

I did not say that the Emperess was from the past--she is descended from the
Roele line, via one of the sisters of a previous Emperor (not Michael Roele).

There is another thing you haven't thought of when I mentioned CHRONOMANCER:
a chronomancer can take someone to the past, retrieve "someone (dead or
alive) and bring her/him back to current time.

I put a end on 2 of my campains and just started another one but with many
people involve (maybe between 12 and 20)... They all started as common
folks or nobles (I've got many blooded and unblooded characters) and
discover their blood abilities slowly in adventuring (as in the "roman"
WAR), I'd like the idea of not knowing yours abilities and my players
really enjoy this setting.-Imagine when your Paladin sinks in water and
succeed her 25% water resistance, discovering that she cans water breathing
at will and that she cans speak with dolphins, what a change in her life...
Whan a character becomes 3 or 4th level, he can be regent and I've got
enought regents to fulfill many places in Anuire. I play with 4 differents
group that share commun interests (for some times) and play adventure in
the same time of domain turns..

It happened very fast that somes want to rule and others (PC) prefered to
be ruled (bodygards) or stay independant(assassin, mercenary, etc). i.e.
one player is Paladin at the head of Talinie, two brothers are two dwarves
and bodygards of Talinie, another one replace the mage after his retirement
    and etc...

Everybody enjoy and 2 people want to sit on the Iron Throne by force and
ruse or start a new empire from dust if they must...

According to the Iron Throne I thought Michael only had one sister and then
she was later killed....another sister...? I don't remember reading
that....Oh well...it is your campaign and if the story works go with it.

Ok question....if the previous emperor's had daughters as we assume they did
and those daughters married, or where to marry...then it would be logical to
say that they married to someone of importance, another regent for sure. Her
loss could be felt for generations still and her children would eventually be
corupted to the weaker bloodline. For it states that the child recieves the
averaged bloodline strength of the child's parents and the deveriation of the
    stronger parent. Given situation:

Emperor Richard has daughter Lady Jane.
Lady jane promised to the Prince of Avanil, if she is abducted will Avanil be
the same as it is today? Will the old Anuirean empire survive the possible
political ramifications of a 'lost' alliance that the marriage would ensure?

    More humble thoughts....

No he only had one sister that was INTREGRAL to the story. But he had
    I believe two others.
