Brecht, because they have more style and character than the other human
races. Followed closely by the Vos, once again for style and character....

    Well....something else

Well, I figured I would change the subject from the Unblooded Regents
thing that I started. I received many good ideas for using them, and
    received
many unwelcome replies with information I didn't ask for, usually from
    people
who stay completely within the rules, and don't limit magic in Greyhawk,
ending up with Magical Floating Hovercrafts transporting thousands of
    people
    across the Nyr Dyv (lake).

    But anyway, a new question:

What is everyone's favourite race? Yes, I am asking you to be racist here.

    Khinasi?
    Vos?
    Anuirean?
    Brecht?
    Rjurik?
    Cerilian Elf?
    Cerilian Dwarf?
    Cerilian Half-Elf?

    Thanks,
    Dan

Beats me what he's talking about.

I would have to agree on the Brecht. They are not only the race with
most style, they also are the most creative and inventive (everything
for the blessed golden coins). But I would have to disagree on the
Vos part there. Even though my latest lieutenant for my Brecht
guildmaster in Coeranys is a female Vos myrmodon (who hapens to like
me a LOT), but I would still opt for the Rjurik. The picture I got
from the brief glimpse I watched their boxset was not very positive,
but I value spirit and gut feeling if I see them. Next to that, I
always had a week point for duids, so what is more promising than
    some druids pulling the strings?

I never like the pesky halflings, always thieving around, never
trying to make an honest buck to live by!

I'm not sure here what you mean - which race would I like to have a regent
of? Which has the most interesting lands and history? Which has the best
munchkin rules going for it? Well, how about all!

Personally, I really loved the Khinasi in Cities of the Sun. They have a
very rich culture with a Japanese-like code of honor (they use the word
'face' numerous times in the book). In the Book of Magecraft, the Khinasi
wizards seem to make the most sense in their explanation of a world view.
That, and they're just so damn cool looking! And their land spans the
gamut from mountains to savannah to deep forests, with coasts and inland
countries. Overall a people that have it all.

The Brechts have a very interesting setup as well. It's neat to see how
the realms aren't as antagonistic as the Anuireans (must be from the lack
of civil war), being mostly neutral and surviving on trade.

When it comes to the elves, though, I've got to admit, there's a lot more
about them than in any other fantasy world out there. They're grrrreat! I
love 'em! Too bad they're on the dirty end of the stick in most realms.
Personally, as an elf, I think that I'd have to join the Gheallie Sidhe -
it's thier only chance. (I feel obliged to mention here that in my
campaign, there's no damn way that a human is going to sit on the Thorne
Throne of Tuarhievel while Prince Fhilaerene is prisoner of the Gorgon. In
my game, he would have said "Come on, fruitcake! We're ready and waiting
for ya, and we've kicked your stony butt before!)

The halflings have the best when it comes to munchkin rules. That shadow
world ability thing is great! I use it to allow halflings to create
portals, like in The Iron Throne. Best way to do it, IMHO.

Well, that's my long-winded two cents (I have a dwarven money sense- you
ain't getting 2 GBs from me!)
