Why do only Blooded People Rule

Actually, if you read the BR rulebook, it says only humans can be
paladins, and only certain gods have them. Not too many dwarves are
going to worship a human god. The Paladin's handbook is an optional
accessory (one which I am not too fond of IMHO), so I think most
people are basing their arguments on the core rules.

Another correction - the Paladin's handbook states that demihumans
can be DEMI-paladins, that is a kind of fighter/priest with some
paladin abilities. In BR, elves don't believe in gods, so they can't
be paladins under ANY circumstances. Only two of the five human
subraces can be paladins, and IMHO it should stay limited to them.
