If I were you I would cement my self to Bouruine by marrying into his
family. As well as the political power you'll get think of the
bloodline of your children. That or make him swear to do something at a
later date for you. (Come kick some ass when your getting invaded)

I would wait for the war to heat up then invade Talinie(Beoruine's
vassal).
Grab what you can pillage then take off. Maybe keep the top few
provinces for bartering with Beoruine or Talinie. Of course that's a
course
of action to take if you don't care what other rulers think about you :)

Personally, I don't think making an enemy of Beourine is a good idea
even if he is far away. On the contrary, you are far away from other powers like
Avanil, so making an ally of him is a good idea. You help him against Avanil
and he helps you agains the Blood Skull Barony(orogs) to the north. If he wins
you get to be his top friend in Rjurik.=)
What would help mean? Something like stated before. Guilds in his
Duchy and/or Taline. He would never concede to Law holdings. Maybe a trade
route to Seasedge his capital. In my opinion, Dhoesone needs money to mantain
a respectful army, and since she already has army units from every one around
her it wont hurt a seasoned calvary or two from Beourine.

If you're so interested in commercials, why not have a trade route
set up on their cost, your benefit from it (nicer way than to ask
gold). Or maybe even get the possibility to position troops/ move em
where you like em. A treaty maybe that they won't attck you for some
time, or won't tax you for some time, or help you in some particular
actions (rule holding eg.). or pay maintenance for some of your
troops.
