Besides the Naval rules in cities of the sun are there any other new
rules amendments or additions printed in any of the other source books?
Does anyone have any good "house" rules they use?

    thanx

The Book of Magecraft contains new (optional) rules on... mages, not
surprisingly, as well as a great deal of explanation on the old rules. The
book is a 'must' for those who play a Birthright mage, especially those
complicated procedures like creating new sources, destroying the ones of
    hostile mages, etc.
It also contains the famous rule that says mage get an automatic guild
holding (0) when their source is high enough.

Page 82 there is a chart which lists the barred realm actions
depending on source level..you will note that a level 4-6 source is
barred from establishing a route, but a level 7 source isn't (no
prohibited realm actions). I realize it doesn't actually say it
straight out, but IMHO you can gather this from what is written

I gotta ask which page and what book on this one. Because I only
noticed it in the Book of Magecraft.
