    Concerning WotC acquiring TSR

I think a lot of people are being overly paranoid about this.
Would WotC just up and drop a system as popular as AD&D? What's
the point of buying TSR if you're just going to cancel their
most popular product? I don't think WotC is in this because
they had too much money and they wanted to waste some of it.
And, after all, it's better than TSR going bankrupt like
everyone thought at first. I just hope WotC doesn't start
adding AD&D to Magic... but only time will tell.

    Stop worrying so much.

I'm not particularly worried about AD&D getting cancelled. They'd have
to be rather foolish to do that. I'm more curious about where they're
going to take the system. Are they going to cancel worlds like Birthright
that don't generate the most sales and concentrate just on the really
popular realms (FR) or what? Reinstate the dead worlds (GH, SJ, etc.?)
I think WoC (yes I deliberately left out the "t") should, if it is legally
    able,
release a general plan for the future of the system and level of
    support that we can expect.
