On the note of mass battles, our combats are roughly 40-60 per side. We
use dummy cards to represent those we don't have enough for. I thought
this was unusual, and it seems that I was right! Does anyone else have

Yes I do. A battle between the Gorgon the PC's and several other lords had
so many units that we used dummy cards and counters on some of the more
specialized units. The fight took so long that we picked it up a second day.
One of the alternate ways to fight that I've begun to use is the mass combat
system in the D&D Rules Cyclopedia. It is fairly well set up and can be
easily modified for Birthright use.
Question does anyone know if a Birthright Monstrous Manual will come out. I
was hoping for unique creatures of the Shadow World and possiblely some from
the normal world as well. If any of you have any please let me know.
