I finally got to looking at Blood Enemies, p.51, as someone (sorry, I

deleted the msg) pointed out.

So, there are centaurs in Lamia`s land? Guarding a mysterious hill

covered in magical crystals and metals? Boy, that`s weird. Wonder what I can make

out of that, since I was thinking of an adventure out her way someday. Hum.

I remember to have read that on besaiam description, about the centaurs and that 'magic hill ', but there isn't too much description about what they are doing here, and why the Lamia let them live there.
I guess if there was something powerfull in her domain she would know it and try to get it, for her profit...
About the Lamia, does it exists a 3.5 version of her ?
I have read many versions for the Gorgon but rarely about the others Azraï's abominations, and Gorgon isn't my favorite, too much powerful :P (Godlike ? )

So is there somewhere new stats for all the blood enemie's ?

I started one, but have not finished it yet. At some (far) future date IMC,

the PCs should go after her.

I would be interested to see your version of her. I worked on one too as she was the vilain in some of my stories.
I ruled a campaign in the setting of birthright but my players wasn't regent . Just blooded people It is easier to involve them in simple missions, in fact they worked for the regent I played when I was a player long times ago :P .It was for testing the D&D 3 conversion of the rules...

It is not easy to give statistics and talents to the "monsters" abominations of the old add birthright as they are treated like just big version of the standard monster , but in case of Keta Pechaya, before being a Lamia like creature she was a rogue and exotic dancer so I guess she kept some of her talents, even it is not easy to dance for her now hehe.

So you rule a storie with centaurs ?

Nope, I was just curious where they might be. I`ve tried compiling a

monster list for Aebrynis (and another for the Shadow World), so that I could

have something on hand when players ask me, "Are displacer beasts *normally* in

the Giantdowns?" Back when I was running a 2e group with a ranger and a druid,

it seemed important to me that they would have at least some knowledge of

wildlife in their home and other areas. Since there are nearly zero mentions of

centaurs, I was wondering where other DMs would have put them, and how well

organized.

Maybe before the Atlas is completed, centaurs` living arrangements could

be defined a bit better.

I thought about having them as sidhe allies, but forests aren`t the best

place to go galloping about. Open plains are, or maybe deserts. Or since we

have the precedent of the domain lords of the Shadow World creating their own

humanoid-animal hybrid minion races, they could have come from there. Thus, a

few scattered groups could have emigrated to Cerilia, just like the

halflings, and moved into thinly-populated areas, like stretches of Vosgaard. Or small

groups (clans) could set themselves up as allies of powerful beings, like

regents or awnshegh.

Hmm, my current group is just about to poke their noses into the forests

of Mieres, maybe a few could pop out and surprise them? That would provide

some interest and local color.

I didn't understand too much that answer

About the lamia, I read she is unable to charm women (as they automaticly save), but her others blood ability works on them.
So, does her wisdom drain ability works on women ?
( But it is not a blood power, and I wonder how she got that ability, look like a Lamia doesn't mean you are a real one ...strange )

I don't have my abominations book handy, but the description of Centaurs guarding a mystical hill sounds like the description of a source holding from book of magecraft. Source holdings always have mystical creatures, or monsters in some cases, anyhow some sort of creature, guarding them.

Once I made the guardian monster the source manifestation itself and

the PCs killed it. Ooops.
