Today I live in the buckle of the Bible Belt and I have yet to find
anyone else even buying BR. To my knowledge I am the only one buying
within a 50 mile radius. (There is only one hobby store within that 50
miles). My home is really in the northwestern U.S. and I found that no
one is buying stuff there either. The last time I went home, no one had
even heard about it other than, "no one's playing that here." I guess
that it is a regional thing on how well the BR world sells. I, for one,
like the game very much, even though I have never played, I believe that
it is a very well thought out world and has a very complete storyline.

Also, a couple of months ago I was reading a computer magazine and it
said that there was going to be a Birthright computer game to be
released in December. It is called "Bloodlines of Power." I can not
find it in any of the computer stores that are around. I've been to
Nashville, Knoxville, and Evansville (the big cities around here)
looking for it. Everyone says that they don't have it in their computer
systems and, therefore, can't even order it for me. Can somebody help
    me as to its whereabouts?

Well, I for one live in the /heart/ of the Bible Belt, Alabama, and it seems
to be doing pretty good here. At least as good as any RPG does down here.
Hopefully it will stay a profitable campaign world, I'd hate to see TSR kill
it, right now it is the only AD&D campaign that interests me in the least.

Sierra, the makers of King's Quest and several other really good games, is
producing the Birthright computer game. At last look at their webpage for
it, it was due out in late April...but who knows, since it did say late
February the time before that :) You can get a sneak preview of it at their
    site.. (http://www.sierra.com/birthright/) They've got a nice Birthright
theme pack for Win95 there, along with a humorous little video of the
    Gorgon, screenshots, etc, etc.....

Where do you live? I'm just curious. I live in Western Tennessee.
I'm not sure as to how well BR is selling, but AD&D is slow in this area
    in general.

It is slated to be released by Sierra. It was advertised in a
    multi-page
add by them in a recent Family Computing. Try contacting them.

Here in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, I personally know of 5 BR
campaigns going on, including mine. It is kinda neat to see all of the
staunch Forgotten Realms fanatics (I used to be one) switching over. A
friend of mine owns a hobby store, and he's starting a PBM game in the
store, involved in a PBEM game, and campaings in my game every Sunday.
Everyone you talk to here that plays AD&D knows about it, and most want
to try it. That's great to see it picking up here, because I think that
it's going to be the next big game world hit (and I've been saying so
    for almost a year now!)
