I'm quite new to Birthright, notsure even what medium you people use to play your games. I have really good experence Roleplaying and decent 3rd edition D&D knowledge. I played a birthright PC game many years ago and the world really hooked me (So I do know the basic story of the stratigy side of it). I would like to try and weasel my way into a game but I don't know where to start with most having thier applications full and such. I would be very willing to play a commoner, non-ruler underneath a more experenced mentor. Anyone who can help e-mail: galda615@student.otago.ac.nz

My Khinasi game has places for new players. Visit http://users.chariot.net.au/~hoss/pbem1/ for more information.
If you are looking for Birthright rules, trying downloading Travis Doom's 3E conversion from this page (download's section) that will give you one version of the Birthright rules.
If you are looking for maps of the continents, then http://folk.uio.no/sindrebe/index.html has them available for download.Let me claim your Birthright!!

Yup, PBeMs are great ways to learn the Birthright rules. As long as you have email access and some form of text editor, you can usually play in any PBeM out there.
The turn forms tend to be text based (Word and such, though of late people have been switching to spreadsheets I've noticed), and the diplomacy and such is usually done on a message board and through email."You need people of intelligence on this mission... quest... thing."

I understand. I've had a few days to look into this and I first saw that PBeM turns took approx. a fortnight to process I thought 'Blah! what a slow game' but then I saw the amount of work a player has to put into a domain turn I can see the reason. Must be damn hard for those Dm's to process all that info. Anyway, thanks, specailly Raesene Andu.:)

Check http://students.ceid.upatras.gr/~mperedim/SotB
This will give you the Continent spanning Campaign which covers all the regions.
I believe ANDU is looking after the Khinasi region.
Hope to see you on the battlefield.:)"Chaos is beautiful"

If your refering to the site I mentioned Lachesis, Sorry, I can't take the credit for the site.
Its PCyric, Strahd, Byron and Andu who are DMing the regions with support from others.
I'm just glad to be playing a Regent and just promoting the game.
So its summer down in New Zealand eh? Just got 2 more inches of snow up here. Temp is around -30 'C.
Hey, it could be worse!
