    Suicide

Does anyone know what would happen if a blooded regent would commit suicide
by piercing his own heart with a weapon made of tighmaevril?

My guess is that he would be dead.

Seriously, I don't think the power would stay in the blade until someone
conviniently picked it up. I see tighmaevril (or, for that matter, any
blade) as being only a conduit; if there's nothing at the receiving end, it
    dissipates.

Notice it would make a damn good plot, and perhaps that's what you're
thinking about: a regent commits suicide by falling on his sword (really
the only way pierce one's heart with a large blade), then a servant (or a
PC) enters and touches the swor, inheriting the bloddline and perhaps some
of the personality of the deseased.

I suppose my conduit theory could be set aside, if it serves a good storyline :)

    Have fun with tighmaevril.

You get a stiff with an improved bloodline score. If he is ressurected,
he'll be better of than before. That's why there is no ressurection in my
    campaign.

NOT! You can't improve upon something that is a constant. If he committed
suicide with a Tighmaevril weapon it would suck the bloodline out of him
then put it right back in.
