These postings are great! Has anyone explored the Kingdoms outside of
Anuire? The North African taste of Khinasi is wonderful. I have
purchased both "Havens of the Great Bay" and the "Rujirk Highlands" boxed
sets but have not had the chance to read them. Anyone care to comment
    upon these realms?

Well I have bought both of the boxed sets myself, and tend to find
them very good. I particularly like th eRjurik Highlands. it got
quite an amazing feel to it. In fact I am going to be starting to run
a campaign set in the area fairly soon. (My regent will probably be
the head of one of the Clans).

As for Havens of the great bay, it opens up a world of
opportunuities. I probably won't run a campaign in it any time soon,
but will defiinetly use it in my current campaign. There are an
amazing amount of plot lines that one can use from it.

By the way has anyone considered Making one of your PC's a lost heir
to Kiergard. (He doesn't have it yet.) he could be the leader of one
of groups of rebels out there.)

    Cheers
    Alvin

I have run one adventure set in the `Havens of the Great Bay' where the
players chased an enemy across half the continent with the help of a friend
mage. There they ended up in Drachenward and after a bit of adventuring and
fighting etc killed off the enemy and then had a very close encounter with a
dragon. They decided not to stick around and see what the dragon wanted
though. I'd have to say that any kingdom with 4 dragons living in it has to be
one of my favorites. I quite enjoyed running the adventure in the area too.
Over the last three weeks I have been running an adventure set in the Rujirk
Highlands (this has been hinted at in my posts of the last few week) where the
players had to complete a quest forced on them by the god Rournil for being
bad and had to solve three riddle that lead them to Anuire City, and then into
the northlands. They have been wandering around for the last several months up
until last week when they finally completed the quest, and saved the dwarven
kingdom of Khurin-Azur from the Gorgon.
As for commenting on them, I like all three expansions, Citys of the Sun also
gives you the navel rules, and Havens of the Great Bay has the guilder class
and two new domain actions, which I am now using in my Anurian campaign.

My group has been to Zikala and the Isle of Ghosts in the Khinasi lands.
We did not stay for very long, so we can't really say that we experienced
much of their culture. Now we have a mage from Zikala in the group, so
I am sure that they will find some reason to head back. My players have
spent a significant amount of time in the Hogunmark. I think that they
like it there. It is the winter time and they are finding traveling a
bit difficult, but they seem to get along well with the people, and are
enjoying some good eating, and the wares of the local tribes' craftsmen.
They have a lot of well make fur items and lots of hand made clothing.
The time of year is around the Eve of the Dead, so the local celebration
has driven local prices of goods up somewhat, but Oh Well!

One of the PCs is from Keirgard. While he is not an heir to the throne,
he does have a bone to pick with the government. See my Birthright web
pages for info on this character
    (http://csm.astate.edu/~pick/fun/birthright.html).

Overall I really like the campaign expansions. They have yet to
dissappoint. I have used the naval rules and the Rjurik Highland stuff
extensively. After my PCs return to Baruk-Azhik, they may find some
reasons to adventure into Keirgard, or other domains from the Great Bay.
I think that I liked the Havens of the Great Bay the best, although it
did not have an introductory adventure in the back.

BTW, if you cannot reach the web pages, let me know. And be careful of
dead links, the pages are not finished yet!
