Subject: [BIRTHRIGHT] - 2 quick questions about the War system....

1) If Unit A is engaged by 3 other units, in the melee phase :does the
unit A gets to attack all 3 or just one?

A unit can only attack one unit. Normally the first unit that engages it.

When dealing with multiple units, it works kinda like this:

1) The attacking unit moves into the square where the defending unit
is.
2) The defending unit engages with the attacking unit. Both units are
now engaged and cannot attack another unit until the enemy
unit is destroyed.
3) The other two attacking units move into the square where the
defending unit is and engage the defending unit.
3a) Since the defending unit is engaged with the 1st attacking unit, he
cannot attack the other two units until the 1st attacking unit is destroyed.
Basically the second and third attacking units get free attacks.

4) Note that any unit in the group cannot leave the square and attack
other units unless they "fall back" deliberately. This allows any other
units that they are engaged with to gain their normal attacks against them.

2)If a unit is attacked by the Flank or the Rear, does the attacking
unit get a bonus?

There are no flank and rear rules for the warcard system.

Hope this helps,
