Aebrynis, the Multiverse and Ev
The calculations are very nice. Lots of reference and work.
I'll probably keep on doing my standard though, and insist that planar
travel messes up time and that time does not flow the same on all Primes.
(Time is a function of gravity, who says it isn't affected by levels of
magic and the gods :)

AEBRYNIS AND THE CHRONOLOGY OF THE PRIMES
Aebrynis' connection to mainstream history comes in the person of
Gregor Zolnik, the man who brought about the creation of the domain of
Vorostokov in the Demiplane of Dread. According to the Ravenloft Timeline,
Gregor was born in Vosgaard's Grovinekevic Forest in 709 BY and brought
Vorostokov over in 731 BY. Since these dates are very generic and could
have happened at any time since c. -500 HC(the approximate date that the Vos
arrived in Vosgaard), the "campaign hook"(a connecting point between two
campaign worlds) will have to be established by some other means. Here the
trail grows faint, for we now have to rely on real world publication dates.
The Birthright boxed set was released in July 1995, and the Ravenloft
adventure "Circle of Darkness" was released during the preceding month.
"Circle of Darkness" dates to 745 BY, so it can be said that 1524 HC= 745
BY. This results in the following timeline:
1488 HC: Gregor Zolnik born in village of Vorostkov in northern
Vosgaard.
1510 HC: Gregor Zolnik murders his wife and a castle full of people;
Vorostokov becomes a domain in the Demiplane of Dread.

In telling us this you are implying that the Ravenloft book "Circle of
Darkness" is actually material about a Cerilian based realm?????
Damn, I'm going to have to go to Lake Geneva and find it aren't I?
Please verify this. I'm curious to the nth degree!

The Birthright Revival is NOW! :)
When you've had the best, why buy the rest?

Whoops! My mistake. Okay, let's see if I can straighten this out: as far as I
know, "Circle of Darkness" doesn't actually have anything to do with Cerilia.
It simply provides a rough chronological tie(due to the RL release date) to
our favorite campaign world's timestream. The relevant material concerning
Gregor Zolnik and Vorostokov actually appears in the Ravenloft products
"Domains of Dread", "Darklords" and "Dark of the Moon"(which, by the way, was
written by our man Rich Baker). There's also a Birthright-style writeup of
Vorostokov in the Birthright Netbook, over at
[http://members.home.net/morgramen/BR_netbook/info/info21.html].

From "Domains of Dread", pg. 99: "As a young man, Gregor was a proud and
skilled Vos hunter in Grovnekevic Forest in the northern provinces of
Cerilia." Based on the current borders of the Grovnekevic and the fact that
Gregor's father-in-law was a duke with a castle(generally a sign of human
domination of an area under a decentralized power structure), I'd guess that
the village of Vorostokov was originally located in Dzhamhou province(domain
of Rovninodensk) or the northeastern coastal provinces of Lutkhovsky. I favor
the Dzhamhou location, since the proximity to the border of Tuar Annwn
provides more fodder for the Shadow World/Demiplane of Dread debates.
