Take heart great friend! The work has already been done for you!!!

Ok, melodrama aside, PO Spells and Magic has a writeup on Shadow Mage's that
is brief but good and workable. It would take very little extrapolation to
convert this into something that would work in BR. There is even a listing
of spells for the school in the back of the book, so you would have a good
base to build from in that arena. It really would be a cool thing for a rare
and powerful NPC and could add a lot to the mystery of the SW if played out
    right.

If you have access to that book, or the Core Rules CD you should have little
trouble porting this over to BR.
