    Tarkal Deeps

    Greetings All!

I am currently attempting to fill out my vision of the Tarkal Deeps in
Roesone. I have based the initial level on the classic "Caves of Chaos"
map from the module "The Keep on the Borderlands".

Everything is good except one thing. I can't decide just how *deep &
populated* these mines are. Is it a 'classic' sized mine/dungeon, or is
    it in fact, more "Undermountain-ish"?

What powers might lurk below the surface level caves?
What races/creatures inhabited these mines after the initial goblin's
    were cast out?

So far, I have hidden an ancient bandit lord's tomb within, and Orthien
Tane has sent his agents into the mines in hopes of finding it. Baron
Ghoere has numerous adventuring parties in the depths as well, in a
campaign to discover some ancient & secret under ground highway into
    Roesone.

    Any other ideas?

    Morg

IMC I used B2 as well. I included a larger "inner" level (west off of the
corridor to area #58, across from #56) and a level below that. There was
also a connection to the Spiderfell. I then populated it with minions of the
    Spider.
The PCs eventually cleared it, and turned it into a secret fort for
    defense against Ghoere.

    Andrew.
