My characters all (4 of them) started out at 3rd level (since I'm not very
fond of DMing 1st level character) and now they are 4th and 5th level....

    Character`s levels?

MY players are currently all First level both campaigns, one I have run for
over a year but started them at 0 level (they are actually going to be
second level soon) the other campaign I just began.

I'm running a Müden-based campaign right now, and the average level of
my five players is 3-4. These include a priest of Æric, a pair of fighters,
a paladin on Nesirie, and a bard.

Unfortunately, it seems that my campaign may be winding down due to
inner-party (players, not pc's actually) conflicts. We played for a
little over two years of real time, passing something around 75 years of
game time. By the end, not one player was still playing his or her
original character, but as people dropped old characters for new, I
generally did not make them lose much in the way of experience
(especially in the cases where I was the cause). My pc's, by the end,
    were averaging about 12th level (10, 12, 12, 12, 14, 14).

I started my first BR game at 1st level then stopped at 5th. My others have
been started at about 3rd level.

    Character`s levels?

The characters in my campaign all started at 1st level, and have now
    advanced to:
    7th Necromancer
    6th/6th Fighter/Priest of Kriesha
6th Fighter (wields Goblinsbane, longsword +2, +3 vs. Goblins)
6th Ranger (wields Hazecutter, scimitar +3)
    5th/5th Wizard/Priest of Avani

A while ago, someone asked for information on other people's campaigns and
since I never got around to it then, I'll post it now.

My campaign is not typical Birthright fare, I guess. The magic is a little
higher, the characters are all evil or neutral, and none of them are regents
(although the Necromancer does want to take over the world, after deposing a
major awnshegh and taking his bloodline).

Even though their alignments tend towards evil, they have done some good in
    the world:
    1) They saved a town from a wererat-induced plague of rats.

    2) They stopped a significant part of a slaving organization (from the
    classic A1-4 series).

    3) They defeated a (rival) necromancer that had animated the entombed bodies
of an Alamien knight and his retinue.

    4) They recovered the dwarven battle-axe Wyrmdum (Battle Axe +3, +5 vs.
Dragons, Protection from Dragon Breath, Immunity to Fear) and returned it to
    the regent of Baruk-Azhik.

But have also done some questionable deeds:
    1) Retrieved a tome that deals with large scale and permanent Shadow World
portals for a lich in exchange for their lives. This lich is a servant of
the Vampire, who IMC is researching a way to tear the veil between Cerilia
and the Shadow World. Unfortunately, the Vampire doesn't believe that this
lich should have given them their lives and has sent several agents to stop
    the party.

    2) Stole a chest of spell components that were being shipped to Endier City
from the wizard Caine. These components were intended to be used in warding
the border between Endier and the Spiderfell. The Heartland's Outfitters
have placed a high price on their heads.

    3) Retrieved the Rod of Undeath (a minor artifact IMC), which the
necromancer has used to create several undead minions. This has irked a
certain priest of Haelyn, who is now hunting them on a quest to destroy the
    artifact.

    Other items of interest:
    1) One of the prizes of a battle with the Vampire's minions is a Crystal
Ball of Hypnosis, which the Vampire is slowly using to bend the
Wizard/Priest to be his servant (a la the Palantir in The Lord of the
Rings). Trusting a self-identifying item may have been a mistake, they will
    learn. >:-)

    2) A somewhat quiet villain of the campaign is Rhuobhe, who intends to wipe
the scourge of humanity from Cerilia using the Tome of Elven Vengeance to
summon The Tarrasque (or The Dread from LotHK, or some equally deadly
beast). He's also incited several wars between the human nations around his
    borders.

    And that's my campaign.
    mike

wow, 75 years? please tell me what has happened, if you have the
time. i thought my campaign's 10 years was a lot...

Well, to be honest, most of the party got caught in a temporal rift
about 45 years in that shifted them forward by 15 more...so it's only 60
years or so...I'm working on a campaign synopsis, but the going's
slow...I'll try to post part soon.
