    Birthright.net

I now have the 13 contributions needed to go forward with the domain name and
web site project. Many thanks to those who have responded. Btw, almost all
of those who pledged monetary support for this project are lurkers, not the
regular posters to this list, which I found somewhat surprising. Just goes
to show that the list lurkers are just as valuable to and interested in
Birthright's revival as anyone else on this list.
On the advice of a previous suggestion, I am checking with Wizards of the
Coast to make sure using Birthright as our site domain name won't piss them
off. I can't see why it would, but better safe then sorry. As soon as I get
a response from them, I'll contact all you pledgors. To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.imagiconline.com

If you folks are having problems with collecting 5$ from each indivudal I will be more than willing
to pay 30-40$ of the cost in one chunk. Just tell me where to send the cash, I think this is a small
price to pay for getting a central web focus on the revival of the great Birthright setting.

I am myself what you might call a semi-lurker, and I would like to point out that the discussions that seem to
get the most postings on this list are the things that are furthest removed from the Birthright setting.
I dont think a 250 posts a week discussion on what to do with so called lurkers (Who by the way seems to be
the only ones to put their money where the mouth is) is to fruitful.

So if there is no problem with the amount of data going through the server, then the system aint broken, and
there is little need to fix it.

The goal here is to get this website up and running as fast as possible.

If anyone backs out or more is needed, I will contribute at least five
    dollars, perhaps more.
