    On-line expansions?

I wonder if WotC could be talked into putting BR items, such as the 'Book of
Regency' on-line like 'Ivid the Undying' was for greyhawk? hmmm?
    Andrew ;-) the ever hopeful!

I think a couple of people have suggested this and as of yet I haven't heard any
interest on the part of WotWC/TSR. Of course, I don't know how well this idea
has been presented to them, or if it has been presented to anyone with the
authority to say "yes" to the project.... We should keep in mind that these
guys are in business, so if we go to them we need to show how:

    1. They can make money or at least advertise their products by doing a WWW
    release.

    2. How they can do this for very little money.

Again, I don't know who you would want to get ahold of at the company to pitch
this idea, but if anyone else out there has any idea....

    Here is my reply:
i have an idea. if *anyone* out there knows who to send snail mail
    to, how is this:
put it on the web, either as an HTML (Web) page, or as a
downloadable Adobe Acrobat format (or both). but instead of giving
them away, charge like us$5 per 'download' of 'the Book of Regency'.
probalem is, putting in ways to prevent copying and re-distributing.
but there are not technologies to prevent all but a experienced hacker
    from doing this.
i'm not saying it's a cure-all. it has it's own problems. but it
    could be the best alternative.
