No, I'm getting as many as 3 or 4 sometimes, just the BR posts.

Sometimes it can be your mail server. With my mail viewer (Netscape) and
server (Bellatlantic) the actual email files will be downloaded to my computer
then when all of them are downloaded then they are deleted from the server (so
that I don't download them again with my next batch). Now if I start to
download them then stop midway (connection loss, computer crash, etc), I'll get
the ones I already downloaded plus the ones I didn't, resulting in some
doubles.

Actually, I have Netscape too as my mail viewer [and a private firm for the server]
and I'm getting 3 to 4 messages of the same posting. I'm not having problems
downloading (i.e. no interruptions). I'm just getting multiple messages from
several people on the mailing list once I open my e-mail.
Did everyone get a message from: "David E. Brooks Jr" ?
This was his message on Wednesday, May 26:
This is just a test from your friendly postmaster ensuring the mailing lists still
works after the move.
I noticed that the multiple postings started after the "move" date. Anyone notice
a similar situation? We've had this happen before, but I don't recall this many
people having this many repeats all at the same time.
Joe

Here is my reply:
hmm... is anyone getting a double of this? if not, i might know
what the problem is. i've been getting emails from this list with the
CC: (maybe even To:, i'm not sure) as
birthright@lists.imagiconline.com
i saw this and thought it was another BR list, not this one. so i sent
to both (mpgn.com & imagiconline.com). so that is why everyone has
been getting 2 of my posts. i've been accidentally double posting :)
well, i just took a look at the bottom of the new posts, and saw that
this list is no longer birthright@mpgn.com, but now
birthright@lists.imagiconline.com so yep, i have been double posting
:) sorry!

You seem to be CCing the list, which would explain all the copies. Any
message you reply to seems to CC that person as well, which accounts for
the seeming triple posts.
Thx,
