    Wasted Bloodlines - The Soil

A bloodline is divine in nature and has the partial power of
    a god.

I have seen characters fighting other blooded people, and have
noticed that they seldom commit bloodtheft as they may not be
confident or skilled enough. So in these cases an opponent drops
dead before blood theft has occurred.

Does the land gain the power of the blood as it seeps into it ?

EG If 10 scions die in a particular place, would that be an instant
source level 1, (visions of the Royal College of Sorcery sending
scions into their ruins - to keep their sources active albeit at
    level 0)

Would the soil be useful as balm, would it provide extra healing
powers or if a character treated it correctly could a potion be
made (with the powers of the scion), or if treated and used as
a mud bath would it grant the powers of the scion for a few days
    to the recipient.

wow, that's a cool idea. i would say, depending upon the DM, that
the soil that has soaked up a lot of blood of scions could be used for
magical components in some unique spells or rituals. it may also have
healing abilities, yes. say, heal like the Blood Ability, at a level
of 5, from minor for a small amount of scions who fell of that soil,
to great for siol that has been long soaked in blood from hundereds of
scions... a bit of the soil ( a thumb sized amount) will act as this
BA at the prescribed strength and level...

also, another possibility is that the soil can be used with a
conventional spell researched by an NPC or PC to grant the caster an
extra 5 BPs for a day or two. or something like that...

this sol could be saught after by many powerful wizards and spell
casters, so the PCs could be under constant harrassment by these
powerful NPCs for the soil they carry with them.

    Here is my reply:

Interesting thought. This is sort of what I was referring to in my post
on the new priest, when I talked about returning power to the land. Now,
of course, if an heir is declared that wouldn't happen. Otherwise, I
think that the power would probably dissapate into the surrounding area.
Trees, rocks, the ground would all gain a tiny fraction of the power
(essentially, that is what the Gods did at Deismaar). It would take a
huge amount of spilled bloodline before I say anything would happen in
one area, but after that it's the DM's call on what specific occurences
    pop up.
    Thx,
