    Map inconsistencies

I was leafing through my copy of Blood Enemies just now and again
noticed something that I have been meaning to mention here since I first
got the book when it was initially released.
The Maps of some of the Awnshegh Realms (well the Hydra's and the
Siren's) are different in the book to the main maps of both all cerilia
and the areas they are from.
Firstly the Hydra's realm of the Harrowmarsh - on ALL of the colour maps
this is depicted as a single large swamp with no provinces. However, in
BE, the map of the harrowmarsh shows province boundaries as well as
    settlement/province names.

Secondly, The Siren's Realm - The Map under the Siren's entry in BE
shows Port Helen as being an Island unto itself separated from
Newtonor/Callanars by Meier's Strait. I think this is correct and that
the strait is obscured by the Title Text of that Realm. My theory on
this is that if you look at any of the colour maps there is a defined
coastline for all of the Siren's Realm EXCEPT for the Area where the
words "The Siren" obscure the map.

    Opinions ?

All I know is that the player's guide to Halskapa clearly has a map indicating
that the Siren's realm is a penensula. I would go with the idea that Blood
enemies is wrong. That book makes a point of saying that the only reliable
information is th statistics themselves and what follows them. The maps are in
my opinion part of Daznig's book as are all of the 'parchement "illustrations

    Map inconsistencies

Well here's an idea, whoever is the Dungeon master can decide which map is
good, and let the players assume that the maps where done by more than one
person or that one map is older than the other and have to assume that one
or both of the maps are entirely correct and the only way to know for sure
is to travel there and find out for themselves as was the case in the old
    days.
