Hi,
I was thinking if we should start to create some more domain sourcebooks? I noticed that the downloads here had a Player's Secret of Ghoere and one of Aerenwe. I think that's a brilliant idea. And I'd love to see more of those.
Brosengae isn't an original duchy according to the atlas, how did the ruler get the title of a duke/duchess? And why is it named the Royal Guild and not the Ducal Guild?
How come Khorien carries the title of Count rather than Duke? Is Brosengae's family the original ruling family of Taeghas?
What is the background of Diemed and how has it grown so weak over the years? And why a baron as ruler, when it's an original duchy?
Who is Darian Avan married to or was married to? Who else in Anuire has a bloodline of 70 to pass it on. What dark secrets is harbored in the home of the Prince?
More background on realms, on guilders, temples, wizards. On the important people.

A lot of this is going to be in the atlas isn't it. It would also suffer from the same shouting that other posts suffer from.

Yes this stuff is supposed to be included in the atlas project.
about the rants.. i just remembered an article Heather Grove once wrote.
Heres a quotation
As with most other things, there are two sides to the idea of fame and the roleplaying industry. If you're good, you probably will get a handful of fan email, and someone will say something nice about you on a newsgroup or email list now and then (and yes, it really does feel nice). But you have to remember that most people are going to be much more vocal about the things they dislike than the things they like. You'll probably get more negative reviews than positive ones, more flames than accolades, more complaints than fan letters. And because you're An RPG Writer now, odds are you'll find that the random comments about which company's writers are lazy will look a whole lot more personal.
My advice? Try not to take it personally. People will inevitably mouth off about the things they don't like, often with more vitriol than they intend. Getting angry about it just gives you ulcers, and doesn't achieve anything other than putting those people on the defensive, which means they'll say even nastier things about you. Just remember that the people who like your work are often home playing with it, not talking about it on the newsgroups.

Hi,
I've created quite a few domain sourcebooks for my own campaigns - while not everything might be immediately useful to everyone, there is still a lot of good stuff that can be used.
Since I don't know how to upload stuff to BR.net you'll have to look at
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/roerules/files/
Cheers

one of the reasons i took it down because i didnt have any control of it. with the layout i mean.
heres an example... and unfortunately its your own submission. dont take it personal. every single one posting through the writers guild did it.

its very hard to read. and cost me quite an amout of time to make it fit again with the rest.
but the new one will also have a comment system like the old, but also a rating system. and you dont have to worry about layout anymore
