    Greetings again,

I just watched Elizabeth tonight with my wife.

I give it a thumbs up in general, and a regency point for its value =
    toward BR games.

The politics involved in the film were great. I won't spoil it for =
    anyone who has yet to
see it, but it is worth the watch. The whole time I was watching it I =
    was thinking about
how much of it can be used in my own game.=20

Especially the focus on the troubles of a female regent. All the =
    questions of the heir
came up, and it was fascinating to see how it was resolved in the film. =
    (note that there
were some departures from real history in the film, but that did not =
    devaluate it at all.)

If you have watched it and used some of what you saw, please start a =
    spoilers thread
so we can discuss this. I really think it can apply to the game, =
    especially in Anuire.

If you have yet to watch it, shame on you! :)

Yeah, that was a great part. It was fascinating to watch him work for the
Queen without any guidance or advice. His loyalty was to the crown so he did
    what he saw fit.

Lord Robert was interesting as well. He had the feeling of a Bard who has
lost his purpose. He had great skills and charm, but no longer had a purpose
due to the intensity of his love. That alone could make for an interesting
character. A bard so obsessed with one thing that he can no longer function
    really.
