    Greetings friends,

I want to start off by saying "HOOOOOOH YEAH!!!!" and "Thanks!" to all =
of you who have responded positively to my initial post/aglamation of =
ideas. I think this burst of enthuasism is fantastically wonderful and =
beyond my expectations. I promise to stay involved as much as any =
    working stiff can :)

    Now then, a few ideas:

    1. Keep the informaiton flowing on the list. Update your web page? Make =
a new page? Develop a story arc, NPC, or anything else relevant to the =
setting??? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, OH PLEASE!! Let us know about it. =
Keep the subject constant. If we all have "Revival" in our subject line, =
we can allow those who don't wish to know to delete on sight; and the =
rest of us can zoom in on it.

    2. Thanks to everyone who has ponied up to either doing some work, =
taking on work, or clarifing the work they have already done. It's not =
easy to do this kind of stuff when you are not getting paid. I know that =
to the fullest. Keep the spirit up and keep the work a going. The hard =
part is staying motivated so I'll be the cheerleader and do anything I =
    can to keep everybody excited.=20

    3. Those of us not hosting a website or anything like that would be very =
kind to send our stuff into those that do. Sometimes this is hard as our =
players read the list/webpages as well; but even posting something =
after the fact is great, and it gives you the chance to modify it for =
the actions of the players both before and after.=20

    4. This also means, we should look into some common formats for =
submission. Those of you putting up these pages should put a page on =
your site telling us what kinda formats you like, if you don't have one =
already. I have the Core Rules CD-ROM and am thinking of making some =
maps with higher focus on the areas I am using in my game. If anyone can =
accept the format used in the program, let me know. I'll send you a copy =
of whatever I do and everybody can have access to it. ;)

    On another angle:

GEN CON!!!! Ok, my preregistration booklet came in today. Good news: =
Birthright is represented under the games being played! Bad News: There =
are only three games I could find and they are not put on by TSR. Some =
wonderful person is hosting them. I'll send you what the book says if =
you email me and ask nicely. :) We should fill his game up and have a =
    ball if we can.

I still want a head count! If you are going to Gen Con please drop me a =
line and tell me. I'll keep a nice roster of addresses and then when the =
time grows near we can try to get together. It can be a nice and campy =
way to meet and exchange ideas in real life. Afterward we can lay seige =
    to the TSR booth. :)

On other related items: For those of you who are thinking of posting a =
synopsis or detail of the goings ons of your campaigns, DO IT MAN! I =
want to know, I want to see it, I want to be inspired by it! Any =
information on active games is cool. Heck, even if I don't like what you =
are doing, I can still learn from it and use what I learn to better my =
game (and boy does it need bettering ;). Do not ever not post something =
that is on topic. We can delete what we don't like. As long as you are =
courteous, there should be no problems. And don't hold back because you =
are shy. That's crap. Nobody is watching you type and laughing ;)

Ok, nuff for now on this. I have more to say about something else so =
it's time for the next letter! :)

OK, I can't go to Gen Con this year (I'm contracted to be teaching in
Pennsylvania at that time), so I'll be the first to grovel. Please,
please, please, please, PLEASE describe the BR games that are going to be
given at Gen Con. And include the DM's name, please, for proper credit.

Well, since you asked here it is for everyone. Bear in mind that the
information given is really slim and not very helpful. These are essentially
    "bullets" of information.

    Friday:

    Time: Noon
    Fee: 2.50
    Dur: 3:45
    Players: 8
Title: Birthright; The True Face of Evil
    Desc:
The Duke of Kozlovnyy has selected you, his trusted retainers, to ferret
out dirty dealings in the Goblin lands of Kal Kalathor. Can you prevent the
kingdom from becoming in another conflict it can ill afford? GM Randy Porter
    (A-3)

    Time: 5:00
    Fee: 2.50
    Dur: 3:45
    Players: 6
Title: Birthright; Drachenward: A Very Bad Start
    Desc:
Things started off badly for the new King of Drachenward in northern
Brechtur when at his coronation nearly all the novility were slain and the b
lame was laid at his feet. Now amid rebellion and war can he rescue his sole
remaining sponsor from his rival for the throne? GM William Seurer. (A-4)

    Saturday:

    Time: Noon
    Fee: 2.50
    Dur: 3:45
    Players: 6
Title: Birthright; The True Face of Evil (repeat)
    Desc:
See above. This is a full replay of the previous day's game.

    Hope that's helpful gang.

And I can tell you from working with him at Gen Con in the past that he is a
GREAT DM. I would bet that his game will be lots-O-fun!

Last year the Roesone adventure was a good time at Gen Con...if you guys are
doing it again....let me know.....(the priest of Cuireicean).....

Would that be the PSYCHO priest of Cuireicean? :) By all means, bring him along. Oh yeah, have him bring his annoying halfing buddy along from Anuire too. (...or was he killed?)

I encourage list members to attend the event I'm running. I submitted a bunch of stuff to Andon
stating I only wanted players with some experience and that they could bring their own (skills and powers, don't split the stats though) characters if they wanted. I don't see where it says that in the description but I'd like to see you playing BR at the Con!

No, he wasn't killed, but he was unconscious when we stopped. He came close
    though.

However, unfortunately, I cannot make it to Gen Con this year. Familial
    obligations and such.

    Feeling particularly disappointed,
