As I know, that this matter has been discussed in this list before so
here is my question:
Does anyone have further information on Tarazin the Grey or is there any
BR stuff containing something about this?

Q: Tarazin the Grey
I think it refers to an article in an old Dragon which gave a timeline and a
few legends of Cerilia. It's one of my most used Dragons...

As long as we are on the topic of dragons (and we are desperately trying to
remain ON TOPIC...) I'm curious why you guys think there are so few dragons on
Aebrynis. In general, the setting has fewer "magical" monsters running around.
Apparently, in preference to having awnsheghlien named Gorgon, rather than armor
plated bovines, but dragons would seem just as likely a candidate for
replacement as any other creature appearing in the MM. Imagine an awnsheghlien
called the Dragon! That could be pretty interesting.
Anyway, I suppose there are two parts to this topic.
1. Why are there so few dragons on Aebrynis from a "realistic" or biological
standpont?
2. Why are there so few dragons from a thematic standpoint?
Whatcha think, folks?

Q: Tarazin the Grey
I told my players that long ago there was a big dragon conflagration of
Deismaar-proportions, and very few survived it. It was supposed to have
taken place before any written history in Cerilia, so only dragons and maybe
some elves recall it. I had a name for it, but I don't remember it now. If
anybody wants a write up I can do it.

Just the same as the BR Timeline with a lot more data about the
pre-Deismaar era. I got it from Dragon Magazin (I do not remember the
number)

As a matter of fact there is one character called the Dragon situated in
Drachenward. According to the information provided in several BR
material, nobody knows anything about him...

A dragon needs food worth 5 GB (I think Ed posted that "houserule" into
this list, if I remember correctly). Considering this I would say,
dragons depopulate a province simply by living there. As a result, all
races of Cerilia would fight them till there is almost no dragon left?

Hmmm, that is a good question. I think, dragons are too powerful and so
they would be fought all over Cerilia or they would rule the world
surpressing all other races.
