No, the dragon was played as set down by the DM's guidelines for the NPC. He
was greedy above all else, and I very smartly used the Dragon's network of
spies and such as I bragged about a treasure I had heard about. (We had
discovered these spies through some good adventures) The Pirate was a famous
one in the world, and the Dragon and He had a history (The Pirate had stolen
some of the Dragon's Treasure). The Dragon abducted me, and I lead him to
the treasure. No, the DM did not play the Dragon bad, he played him all to
well. Instead of modifing the Dragon or having the Dragon know about the
curse he played the dragon as the dragon should be played, despite his
obvious anger and not forsseing this.
