Birthright
In my campaigns, bloodlines are not as rigid a way of playing, but
rather a set of powers that add to a character. Two different players
of the same bloodline are rarely alike, even if of the same class,
culture and bloodline. Perhaps they should be, but that is not the
case. In a like manner, my NPC's are not all that related. I've thrown
in a few twists of course, like a scion stuck with Azrai's blood, but
who is LG in alignment.....
A question for anyone who might know....
Do you know if TSR/WoC, is planning on re-releasing any products for the
birthright campaign. Last I heard was July of this year, but their
current online catalog does not include any birthright products....
Just curious, but I really enjoy the setting and would like additional
stuff to work with...

The latest word was that BR has been put on "indefinite hiatus" (or some
such euphamisms that means almost-but-not-quite cancelled). We have been
assured that TSR's committment (and presumably WotC's) is to review the
product so that it can be repackaged, remarketed, and rereleased more
appropriately, but the truth of the matter is that it probably all relies
on the financial soundness of TSR. If TSR starts having trouble, the first
thing to go will undoubtedly be things on "indefinite hiatus."

I guess that is setting the bar pretty high in this era of computer games.

I can see how the AD&D system could be a problem. It does have the
"horse-built-by-committee" feel to it. People who have been with the system
a long time, and were able to get used to, or who learned the game by
circumstance have enjoyed it.

Hey, List!
Here is a letter that most us probably recieved from David Wise from
TSR/WotWC about letters we had sent him. Just thought I would post it to
the list for those who didn't.
