I guess you Americans have to be disrespectful toward the Canadians as
it's their thecnology which made it possible for you to get up into
space, build better military aircrafts (I guess the Avro Arrow would
still have been better than the best American fighter).
There is only one thing about America which terrifies me, and it's that
an American car explodes when it's 5 inches off the road (evidence, look
at an American action movie ;).

Those that aren't injured, in rehab, on trial or from another
country entirely. :-)

Oh goodie...we're gonna play now :) Actually, Canuks rarely get pissed
off over lack of respect...about the only people who don't respect us are
Americans...and generally (general public...always exceptions of
course)..they haven't got a clue as to what they are talking about..
As far as our piss poor army, well, if you care to take a look back at the
last two world wars, it was the silly Canuks who got stuck with the jobs
the Amazing American amy couldn't handle..and for the most part, we did
well above what was expected. In modern day, we regularly out perform the
American Navy in exercises (at least in the North Atlantic) despite our
(again for the most part) underfunded and under equipped military.
Course, if you really want to see how we've stacked up against the US in
military might, check out why the white house is white...it had to be
white washed after it was torched by us silly Canuks...
You got any more to toss out?

Hey now, let's not get ridiculous. remember, the reason the Americans were
doing all the hard stuff in the first place was because of generals like
Montgomery who seemed to have troubel with the concept of "offensive"
meaning an advance towards the enemies positions, not a saunter in the
park.
And since he and thee both sing about some Queen...

Well first, it was a carefully calculate dpolitical ploy to enrage the
general public.
Second, if you hadn't been so silly, you wouldn't be stuck with being in the
Commonwealth. You could have joined us in glorious independence from those
heathen Islanders.

doesn't like competing Imperialists.

First off, I have to admit I'm enjoying this little off topic flame fest
:)

Hey..there is a really good reason we are still in the commonwealth...its
the only time we get to go to sports competition and really whip some butt
:) (*wishing we had another 50 million people to draw from...*)
Besides..its the second largest internation orginastion (if memory
serves..feel free to flam if I'm wrong) after the onympics, with over 100
countries...

Come on, you had your fun, now please stop. To find 20 messages or so
about if the American or the Canadians are better seems insane to me. If
people want to flame each other let it at least be over some AD&D
subject (or even better: Birthright) or so.
At least that would be interesting to the European members of this
mailing list :-)

These aren't flames, these are extremely lame nationalistic pretensions. My
real Imperialistic rants would have driven people to real flames after the
first line.
Trust a Euro to whine about things though. They have even less of a
comprehension of their Client State status than you goofy Canadians do.
(There, I included you guys too,. Happy now? :-P)
Samwise, Of course I believe in one world government...MINE.
