    Ok group, two questions......
1>why are gnomes listed as monsters and not pc's?
2>what do you think of using experience for domain actions instead of =
    relying too heavily on adventures?

As a GM, I for one consider them monsters. :)
They don't quite fit the feel of Birthright.

I wouldn't. I play roleplaying games (and I think my players do, too) to go
on adventures I wouldn't have normally. Anyway, my opinion.

Some time ago, I came up with some experience awards for domain
actions. They are for actions that relate specifically to the
character's class. Check them out here:
http://www.efn.org/~bstoner/xp-domain.html They can help a lower level
character, but they are too small to help a higher level character
much. Also, I designed them with a fair number of adventures also
involving the PCs, so they wouldn't get their XP purely from domain
    actions.

Hmm, exp for domain actions. For Researching I can see that. Maybe a few
others. Yet the majority, no more then 50 to 100. The Regent doesn't go an
create the guild holding, his representitives find the land, hire the people,
and cajole a few local merchants into working through them. Unless the Regent
wants to go and do it himself, and roleplay it out (sometimes very intresting,
but you have to be an on-the-fly GM, and have some stuff lying around just in
case) I don;t give them big exp rewards. I mean will Avan go into Ghoere and
Establish a law holding himself? Not unless he has his army with him. I
figure the regents perhaps oversees, how much depends on the RP spent, but
other then that they hold court and other nessicary pompt needed by a nation.

I like your chart, I had something similar in mind to make, but now I can
continue being lazy and not do it :-) I don't like the table Muaadeeb made
(http:) for regular gaming (ie not PBeMs) because it makes adventuring kinda
pointless. But your table is really good, it also gives PCs slightly more of a
want to be regents. Ahh, just babling now. Just wanted to say good job.

I feel compelled to say something about regents getting XP's from
undertaking domain actions. Althought it may be good DM should make
sure that it doesn't amount to a significant amount. Especially if he
has PCs who aren't regents. The non regent player would be frustrated
that the regents are surpassing them it measurable experience by doing
something that they can't do. I say this from experience.

Right. The key is to balance. I find it better to keep the rewards small, but
the regents deserve some rewards. It can also be good to have non-regents go
on a few "extra adventures" short small scenarios, maybe scouting out a
brigand camp, or killing gnoll maraders invading the country side, or
investigating a report of undead from the shadow world. These short
adventures can equal out the exp, and ballance out the rewards (It also gives
the regents time to formulate a plan for their actions).

You have a point. I think that's a good idea. I know my Dungeon
Master has a hard time trying to balance the things. When we have 5
people playing regents and 3 people playing PC non-regents. It is
also hard on time two. But that's another story.
