heh, heh, yep I think we're tracking here. I see Vos as exactly this type of
    embodiment of violence and strife.

    Vos Warrior Code

"BROTHERS! Warriors of Vosgaard! In this land there is no time for Mercy!
Mercy is for the weak and the stupid! Mercy is for those who will be ruled!
Mercy is for their women that will bear the seed of our new nations! We are
owned by the Mighty Belinik, Lord of Strife, Prince of Terror, and the cold
waste of Kreisha, The Ice Lady, Winter Witch! They ALONE know the truth of our
poeple, why we left the weakling, teat suckling, sniveling cowardly Vorynn, and
    after Him, the weak Lirovka!"

"Our home is DEATH!! We fight for survival in the coldest, harshest lands of
all this world! We make ourselves STRONG! Like the White Bear we will crush
our enemies! Drive them like cattle to the slaughter, and take their women for
    our own!"

"Belinik knows the soul of every Vos warrior, from tsarevo to coward, and
forges us in the cold fires of Mother Vosgaard so that we will live! And one
day, THIS DAY! With Kreisha's cold calculation, and Beliniks brutal strength
and domination, we will conquer what is rightfully ours! We will SMASH the
forces of the corrupt Anuireans and the confused Rjurik!"

"THIS WORLD WILL KNOW THE POWER OF OUR SWORDS!!!"

    - --Attributed to the Mighty Raven, circa 562 MR.

Having united the whole of Vosgaard behind him and allied with the Magian, the
Raven swept Westard to challenge the might of the reborn Anuirean Empire.
Along the way, the two of them managed to swee up most of the humanoids, wipe
out Rhuannach, and gather El-Sieghul and the Swordhawk.

Thus it was that Kiergard, Baruk-Azhik, the Chimaeron, and Rohrmarch became the
central battlegrounds as the armies of Emperor Sturm Halfax t'Reole
(including the allied elves of the Nation of the Aelvinwode and Emerald Empire
of Lluabraigt) and the armies of Black Prince Raesene, the Gorgon met head-on
with the combined forces of Vosgaard, Khinasi, and half of Brechtur.

That conflict, dubbed the War of Rebirth, would pale in comparison to the
Second Shadow War that would forever end the Micheline Era, between the years
    accounted as 567-575 MR.

"Rally Voshounds to these unmanly slights against your honor!" "Take that back Southron, or I will cut out your tounge!"

The rules say (page 9) that the Vos have a rigid code of face and honor that demands blood for insults. I see this as
very Klingon-like. The only alignment requirement of both belinik of kriesha is that their priests be any evil. There's
nothing anywhere that says Vos society is chaotic. Politics between tribes, factions or nations? Yes, chaotic.
Everyday life? no. I see the Vos as having all kinds of brooding, superstitious little rituals for everything- again,
much like the Klingons. The Klings are always verbally threatening each other and issuing personal challenges. All this
happens in a very warrior oriented honor bound society with specific rules.

While not a code of chivalry in the western sense, the Vos warrior code is probably not one of evil. What honor is there
in defeating a helpless foe or simply slaughtering prisoners? Take them back as slaves or as sacrifices. Just killing
them is a waste. This could one of the socialogic reasons behind the code.

Would you say the Vikings were a warrior society with a strict code of honor? You bet.

One of their favorite after battle sports was to throw children into the air and impale them on spears.

Just because the Vos can be bloodthirsty doesn't mean they can't be honorable.
