    statblock namespace

I am currently thinking about creating a namespace for statblocks only.
like NPC stats, monster, creature, domainholding blocks etc.

Currently we have some statblock, but they are mixed up with the structural templates.
I would like to have the structural and data templates seperate.

plus you would be able to include statblocks on any page you like.

i havnt come up with a name for the namespace yet, but i would like to hear your thoughts on this.

To the limited extents that I comprehend the question, my utter lack of orginality shows through with my suggestion of "statblocks"

hehe ok, let me rephrase it a bit..

    it was actually two question.

1 less important, the name.. could be anything, from stat, stats, sblock whatever.. but the namespace name will also be the tag used to include.. so statsblock might be a bit long

but my other question, the more important one, is, what you think about the idea?

last night i finished coding the "secondary" template forums.. (i.e. pages that can be included)
I will merge them hopefully today with the live forum.

The forum (statblocks) can be used for all data related templates, like domainbox, domaintables, npc, creatures, monsters, tables etc.

to include them you ynly need to refere the page like you would do with a template: page name + tag, something like Domaintable Elinie

this will keep things more organised since the statblock forum can have multiple subforums to "separate" them for example on editions. Also the code on long pages like domains will be more readable, since the tables arent there any more.

the only "downside" of it is that you can only have unique names in that forum (like all the others). so creating a subforum doesnt count for the wiki as an identifier.

so we have to come up with some sort of naming convention for when we have multiple stats for NPC's (like 2nd, 3rd 4th or even gurps..

i think putting the edition or game engine number/name behind the page name will be the most easiest one.

    Like:
    The Spider (2e)
    The Spider (3e)
    The Spider (4e)
    The Spider (GURPS)

but nothing is set in stone yet, so all suggestions are welcome

the names on the BRWIKI are something like D20:Locust Swarm (Creature) or D20:Locust Swarm (Epic Creature)

if some of you could help me on that, i would be grateful!

The orinals are already there on the current wiki, also the statblock pages are there, so they dont need to be created again.. just edited and the [template]Monster/Creature Table copied into it.
(of change the [template]Monster/Creature to [template]Stat Block
see one of the other statblock as an example

Heres a link to the template
    Stat_Block

It contains an extensive description on all the Parameters. I have put 80% of them in the new statblock layout.
I left out the Epic abilities, and i changed something in the (cls)xxx part.
But i will update that later.
