    The Return!

Well, I figured everyone would be interested to know something I learned
tonight. I attended the Ravenloft seminar on the TSR site tonight. David
Wise is the brand manager of Ravenloft and yesterday, he was made brand
manager over all the AD&D lines. I figured I'd make a plea for the return
of Birthright since he was there and was told that it will be returning! I
dunno when or how but I hope its the hardback next year. And hope plans
    aren't cancelled again :)

This has been a Galwylin® Production

Thanks for the update. I hope it wasn't just the standard corporate
    answer. Its hope though.
Now if they would only get smart, chain Mr. Stark and Rich Baker to a table
and let the magic commence again. I think realm spell warding might work,
with the clause they can be released after 20 Birthright products a year is
    produced.

Enthusiasm and desperate love-based product greed aside, I would be glad to
see one new domain sourcebook, one game supplement, and one or two
adventures per year would whet my appetite, plus three or four Dungeon and
    Dragon articles per year.

Some extra little products could also be done, such as distributing extra
sets of warcards in shrink wrap or publishing short rule alternatives (like
new battle rules) or spare maps in black and white suitable for marking up
by the players and DM...heck, TSR could just make some card stock on which
I could print my own warcards...

If the products were there, I would buy them. I expect that the products
should make a profit and I'm willing to pay a fair price, but I also expect
    quality.

something id like to see is varied nonhuman units, more than just
dwarven infantry and dwarven crossbowmen. perhaps some sort of elven
ranger, or dwarven HEAVY infantry, more than say gnoll marauders and
    whatnot

Actually we have been given alot of dwarven and elven units. There are
Dwarf Crossbows, Guards, Infantry, and Miners. The dwarves use scout
troops, but it seems contrary to their doctrine to use scout units. Dwarf
Guards, the 3-5 units provided originally are the heavy units.

There are Elven Cavalry, Infantry, Archers Spearmen, and Scouts. It would
appear that the Spayrs should be impervious to charge rather than the
    Stayrshuynwydden, but either way...

And don't forget the flying Elven Knights of Inneshiere. (Which thankfully,
    I've never had to use.)
