A few months back we learned that TSR was pushing the re-release of BR from
this summer to next year (January). However, more recently it has been learned
that TSR has pushed BR's release back indefinitely. They aren't using the term
"abandoned"...but it seems that way. Hopefully, though, it will be back soon.

    To Brian
Thanks for the clarification. I had heard about the indefinite delay in
relasing all items for Birthright. I would be surprised to see TSR do
    anything with it.

I havent heard anything about them abondoning the system, just postponing
it until 99, when they will have an "exciting new format" to present it in.
the indefinate postponement Mr Stoner mentions is (hopefully) the delay
until the BR hardcover comes out. At least *I* figure putting it off from
Summer 98 to early 99 is an indefinate postponement, but we wont know HOW
indefinate until it comes out :)

The term "indefinitely" was used on TSR's web site for a short while before
they changed everything recently. Heh, I too hope that BR is re-released
sooner rather than later. Heh, "indefinite" means they don't know...so it
could easily be next year. Unfortunately, that is not how the term is usually
used, but we can still hold out hope.

Brian, aka Dearnen...who wishes he could cast a "Define the Indefinite" spell.

Hmmm - how much time, GBs, and RPs would it take for us to research such a
spell? Definately a good idea, though. Perhaps we could use a magical
item...I hear those old "magic eight balls" work wonders for divining the
    future LOL
