    Here`s A Question for y`all !

    >magical constructs/spells?

Well, the blood ability description says that it duplicates the
priest spell "Detect Lie", so if the amulet makes the user immune to that
then he is immune to the blood ability too.

    Hey fellow BRers:

Here's a question for you; apologies if its already been covered! ->

For magic items that prevent the detection of alignment/esp stuff/etc.
do they still work against bloodpowers? Example: We have an amulet that
prevents people from reading the wearer's mind. Now a wearer of said
amulet tells a lie; it just so happens that he is talking to a scion who
has the Detect Lie blood ability. Is divine essence stronger than
    magical constructs/spells?

When in doubt, I go with "Bloodpowers Rule!" This is BR after all. I say
they're a spark of divinity integral to the setting- not some cheesey secondary
    inherent powers.

No, not in my game. Though the blood powers are leftover divine power sread
among the followers that were at deismar, they DO NOT make the scions gods in
any way, shape or form. A scion mage divination spell isn't any more powerful
than an unblooded magician's, Think of blood abilities like granted powers of
specialty priests or the natural abilities of other races.
