What is a Xvart? They sound neat, but I can't find them, or maybe my
memory's faulty :)

In the old Fiend Folio. I forget where they appear in 2nd ed. Big headed,
goblin sized humanoids with lots of magic users among them.

Hey - if you dont have the old Fiebnd Folio, I'll be delighted to type out
and send the entry, since Samwise was kind enough to assure me I wasnt the
ONLY person who had of the "Svart-Alfar" :)
BTW - thanks, Samwise :)

No problem James. I can't remember where I left my wallet, but I can sure
remember every bit of trivia concerning AD&D and mythology I ever read. Nice
to know it has some use. :-P

I'd settle for a description, myself, I've just never seen the critters
anywhere. Stats are easy, but new and original creatures aren't :)

IIRC, the xvart are small humanoids who have a super sonic chameleon ability.
Really hard to see when they are motionless (Except thay can't do plaid I
hear.....*chuckle*)They are in an old UK AD&D module..."The Sentinel" and the
follow up was "The Gauntlet." I have both of these kicking around somewhere,
and can look them up if anyone is interested.
Morg. (Who btw is very upset at not being able to go to GenCon...)
P.S.
Can one of you GenCon goers keep an eye out for info on where I can buy some
Tony Scuzuldo prints...
