This is one of the prestige classes I am working on for the unnoficial magicians guide and wanted to get some feed back on it.

Illuminator

Class Features:

Weapon and armor proficiency: no additional.

Illusion focus: same as spell focus up to a +3 bonus to each

Illusion penetration: same as spell penetration up to a +3 bonus to each

Bonus feat: any metamagic

Light magic: Add +1 to the difficulty for all caving throws against illusion.
Add +2 to the difficulty class for all saving throws against illusion (light) and illusion (shadow).

Shine the light, illuminate the darkness:

Your knowledge of light and shadow are so great that you can directly affect the shadow world and its creatures. Your illusions of light strengthen the border between the shadow world and cerilia closing portals and damaging undead and other creatures of the shadow world. An illuminators light spells damage shadow world creatures struck by it for 2d6 points per level of the spell.
