Hi everyone,

Well, it has been a while since I've talked to you all, but I have some
great news about the project. We have been very busy lately, and things are
starting to move along nicely. For all those who don't know what this
project is about, please go and visit the homepage and have a look around.

Projects are now beginnning in the Magic , Military and Miscellaneous
with the Law and Guilds groups not very far behind. The latter have got a
lot of organisational details to work out before any of the details can
really begin. So, to summarize quickly, the following has happened (you can
get all of the details at the homepage - see my signature for the URL):

* The map of the City has been redrawn and made to look a lot better than it
did - thanks to Necromancer for that

* The first magic project has been completed - an NPC by the name of
Gwrfelling Berisman

* Details of two of the miscellaneous projects are up (The Imperial Ferry &
The Tomb of Michael Roele)

* An absolutely stunning title picture has been drawn by Manni Volk, which
is at the homepage. This is far too good to miss.

* Membership is picking up - the Miscellaneous and Military groups are
definitely the most popular, while the other groups could use more members.
So if you are interested in Guilds, Law/Government or Magic (both religious
and wizardly), then contact the steering committee member for those groups.
Their email addresses can be found at the homepage.

There is still lots to do, and a mailing list exists where a lot of
discussion occurs. You can get details about joining the mailing list at the
homepage, or you can email me if you don't have access to the web. Lots of
anciallary information has recently been discussed, and I am currently
collating all of that and putting it on a web page. I hope to have that done
soon. This will provide a lot of background information for the city, adding

Thanks for your time people. Come and visit the OCP homepage - you won't
regret it. And it definitely isn't too late to join.
