Hmm, you might be right about that. Although I will probably end up buying
both as my 3-year-old copy has become quite tattered (on its last legs) and
you can never have too many war cards... It won't last another year of use
without replacement, I think.

Thank you.

I hope you're right.

The Netbook probably wouldn't mind a small addition...not plots just mechanics.

Thanks again Ed, we hope to hear some good news.

I certainly sympathize with DKEvermore's perspective. Dealing with it
won't be a problem, but *stopping* dealing with it might be,when the time
comes for the new stuff to come out. I cant very well put the campaign in
suspended animation, waiting for WotC/TSR to whet our appetites. I hope
there is still room in my campaign for the material they put out, but if
not, oh, well. My wallet has been putting on weight lately, waiting for
TSR products, anyway. It can stand to put on a little more, although I
dont know wether it will be easier to get extra weight off of my wallet
than my midsection. Who is Rose Estes, anyway?

Like everyone else, I was looking forward to the relaunch.. but you gotta admit, it's
nice getting an up front explaination.. and I find it encouraging that TSR/WotC are
making sure it's getting the concentration of effort that it deserves.. Thanks for the
info...

Why not offer jobs to some of the people on this list? The Netbook and
Online City are spectacular pieces of work. At least a "freelance"
writer or some sort of job title.
I admit, I've been looking forward to the new books since the "hiatus"
was first announced. I want to see this setting continued just like
everyone else but I have to ask a question. How can it be said that
Birthright has not sold like it was supposed to? Most of the
sourcebooks are out of print, the Book of Magecraft is out of print,
expansions are out of print, people outside the United States still
haven't seen some of the "old" releases yet, and so forth. If things
aren't selling why can't people find some of these items?
One more question. How can you expect to sell a product for a profit
without keeping the product on the shelves?
My 2 GB's.
