Could anyone tell me what the navel rules are and if they are worth buying?
I have ordered every birthright product but this so I need to know if its
    worth getting.

If you want to use ships in Birthright then the naval rules are very
    useful.

I bought the cities of the sun expansion instead though and if you
already have the expansion you do not need the Naval Rules as they only
contain the ship war cards from Cities of the Sun and the naval rules
    from the same expansion.

The Naval Rules are included with the Khinasi supplement. You do not need
to buy the separate rules. I unfortunately made that mistake.

I"d aslo recommend picking up the Ships and Sea supplement from TSR it
has a good base of infromation on vesels and goes into more details then
the navel rules, which suffer from the same limitations of the war cards
that we have discussed in other post. I would also say that if you can
find a used (Cheap) copy of spelljammer the ship to ship combat rules
for that game were the best thing to come out of it and they are what I
plan to use for any naval engagments of six or fewer ships. I haven't
tried them with really large war card level battles so I can't recommend
    their use there.

Well, since you already have Cities of the Sun, don't buy the Naval
    rules.

In fact, doesn't it say on the NAval rules that if you have "Cities"
    don't buy the NAval rules?
